Heather is an Associate at the Ansanelli Law Group, LLP (“ALG”), focusing her practice on estate planning, elder law, trust and estate litigation, and business formation.
Heather concentrates on developing asset protection strategies designed to meet the unique goals of our clients. In addition, she counsels clients on the legal and financial considerations in planning for varying stages of life, including eligibility for governmental benefits.
Heather represents clients in contested estate and trust proceedings before the Surrogate’s Court.
Additionally, Heather is involved in business formation and management matters, as well as various real estate transactions.
Heather earned her Juris Doctorate from Touro Law School. She also holds a bachelor’s degree from Salisbury University. While at Touro Law School, she earned the CALI Excellence for the Future Award during her study in the Elder Law Clinic.
Prior to joining the firm, Heather interned for the Hon. Leonard D. Wexler, Judge in the Eastern District of New York, the Civil Division of the Offices of the United States Attorneys, and the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office. She also worked as an associate at a law office in Nassau County dedicated to elder law and estate planning.
Heather is admitted to practice law in New York and is an active member of the New York State Bar Association, where she belongs to the Elder Law and Special Needs, Trust and Estates Law, and Young Lawyers Sections.
